VOCAL receives no funding from either national or local Greek government. This means that quite apart from working on our neutering, healthcare and rehoming programmes we have to find ways to raise money to enable us to continue our vital work.
So far this year we have neutered more than 1,300 cats, offering a service to many small local cat groups in the area as well as local people who feed street cats but cannot afford to have them sterilized.
One of our important annual fundraisers is the VOCAL calendar. Please do consider buying one (or more!) They make a wonderful gift and the profit all goes to the cats.

VOCAL erhält weder von der griechischen Regierung noch von lokalen Stellen Fördermittel. Das bedeutet, dass wir neben unseren Kastrations-, Gesundheits- und Vermittlungsprogrammen selbst Spenden sammeln müssen, um unsere wichtige Arbeit fortsetzen zu können. In diesem Jahr haben wir bereits über 1.300 Katzen kastriert und damit vielen kleinen lokalen Katzengruppen sowie Menschen in der Umgebung geholfen, die Straßenkatzen füttern, sich aber die Kastration nicht leisten können.
